Learn about Dave’s “Music and Nature” hikes for BCAS and Boulder Phil here.
From the Blue Danube to the mighty Moldau, rivers and creeks have inspired composers to create heart-stopping melodies. Join community naturalist Dave Sutherland to enjoy a little water music on an easy walk along one of our local creeks to learn how this meandering green ribbon shapes the lives of creatures great and small along its banks. Beautiful fall colors promised at no extra charge! We’ll share musical excerpts along the way and challenge everyone: how would YOU try to capture the creek with music? This program is free and offered in collaboration with the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. Bonus: BCAS participants will receive a discount code to purchase Boulder Phil concert tickets!
Where to meet: Meet at the front entrance of the East Boulder Recreation Center, 5660 Sioux Dr.
