This program will feature a discussion about the importance of protecting and conserving privately owned land in Colorado for the benefit of people and wildlife. Colorado is a state with a large amount of public land. Land trusts serve to protect private lands, and this talk will show how these lands play a significant role in wildlife survival, and how and why organizations like Colorado Open Lands work to protect both landscapes and our beloved wildlife. This talk will leave you feeling good about the work being done to protect these private lands for posterity.

In-Person Gathering - BCAS welcomes everyone back to in-person programs at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder. Doors open at 6:30 PM for socializing and the program begins at 7:15. While the church is no longer requiring masks, we encourage you to wear your favorite high-quality mask, and we will provide free surgical masks for anyone who needs one. Please stay home if you feel sick, and watch the program on Zoom.
An FM hearing assistive system is available in the Earth room where BCAS programs are held. The receivers and headsets for these can typically be found in a basket on the table to the right as you enter the double doors to the Earth room. There are four receivers of this type. They are fed sound directly from the sound system and the user can control the volume themselves. See this website for more information on how to use these systems.
Online Gathering - The meeting room will open at 7:10 PM, and the program starts at 7:15 PM. Questions for the speaker will be taken from the chat feature of the Zoom session.
Online access info will be posted here by the day of the program.
