BCAS Field Trips and Other Events
Audubon field trips are fun, informative and open to the general public. Unless noted ($$), they are free as well. Learn more about the current field trips or view all events.
BCAS Interludes With Nature Field Trips
“Interludes with Nature” is a special series of field trips offered every year and an important fund raising tool for Boulder County Audubon. These trips are led by this areas most knowledgeable birders and naturalists and take participants to places you wouldn’t often get to see. Monies raised send our Teen Naturalists to nature camps in Maine and the Colorado Rockies.
The first day to sign up for these trips is during our annual Holiday Sale, the 4th Tuesday in November. They have proven extremely popular and often sell out that evening. Learn more about our upcoming Interludes With Nature Field Trips.
BCAS Board Meetings
The next board meeting will be held in early September. Please contact us for time and location (or check this Web page in mid August).
The Boulder Christmas Bird Count is an annual event held locally and in coordination with National Audubon for more than a hundred years. All are welcome, even those who think they know little about bird species. What birds are in town for the holidays? Help us find them — contact us, and we’ll help you find a compatible group for this last-Sunday-before-Christmas event.
