Teen Naturalists: Wintering Raptor Survey Along White Rocks Trail

Leader: Steve Jones

Using binoculars and spotting scopes, we'll count and map perching and flying eagles, harriers, and hawks. Information from this and future surveys will contribute to raptor habitat protection within the Boulder Creek floodplain.

Boulder County Audubon has binoculars and compact cameras for use by Teen Naturalists. If you would like to borrow either, please include this in your registration to Steve.

This event is free and open to all Boulder-area teens who love nature and science. Learn more about BCAS’ Teen Naturalist program.

To register, contact Steve Jones, curlewsj@comcast.net, 303-494-2468.

Where to Meet: All registered participants will be sent the address prior to the event.
